International communication courses for staff begun on 22 of January, 2007 and will last until 22 of September. Courses are organized two times per week. Participats of the course are divided into two groups. First group meets on Friday’s from 8:00 to 10:00, and second group on Wednesday’s from 15:30 to 17:30.

Form 2nd of October 2006, till 2nd of February 2007 six mobile nannies- nurses were employed for 2 -3 hours work per day. University staff and students could call nanny to look after their child, to help to do homework and to help at home. Some times nannies had to work on weekends also. 18 families used this service.

The contract with the academics of Vytautas Magnus University and the Institute for Social Research - J. Reingardienė, A. Maslauskaitė, A. Zdanevičius, A. Tereškinas - is being framed. The research is being carried out in the higher educational institutions to solve the problems of the reconciliation of family, work and studies for the community of university. The authors undertake to formulate the methodological guidelines for scholarly studies about family friendly organization.
